		<description>Monty:
Congratulations on this article! Very hard hitting and in a way courageous on your part for taking a stand on certain issues you talk about in this article. It’s clear that some of the most influential wine critics have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to Brunello (and many other Italian red wines), as you so correctly point out. I love the line about “chocolate&quot; flavors in Brunello, which of course, has nothing to do with this wine.

It is a shame that so many consumers believe such nonsense. Let’s hope that all of this mess leads to more authentic Brunellos. I attend Benvenuto Brunello almost every year and find such a variance of styles. I salute producers such as Il Poggione, Le Chiuse, Talenti and Caprili for producing classically styled, traditional bottlings of Brunello, which should be the model for all the producers.

		<description>Dear Monty,

Thanks for your very interesting report. I just recently found two bottles of Brunello 2001 in the same line of filling (identified by the AAA Numbers on the pink band:
One of them i bought very cheap in one of the largest german supermarktes, the other bottle coming from the same filling lot shows a nice label of a rather new Brunello producer - of course I paid twice as much in Montalcino than in that german store. Is this legal?

Kind regards
