Brunello made its name being the "noble" expression of sangiovese! We already have the I.G.T. Toscana level to play with other varietals. This is purely the producers of the region relying too much on a collective marketing power! Just call your wine Sant' Antimo or Montalcino and the blend. Use the supertucan model and you''ll be fine. Continue to lie to the consumer or change the rules and you will lose your market you have cultivated.
